We are a small family business who are passionate about narrowwboats and the waterways. We have had a interest in narrowboats since the youngest Brother bought a boat to live on 2010. From this point the boat was refurbished and the cabinet maker transferred his skill set to narrowboats. Word spread with other boaters looking to employ his skills. This started the move and the small jobs turned into bigger jobs eventually leading to the family business being formed. Another member then became a manager of a well known marina on the K&A Canal where he gained knowledge and experience of brokerage and what people are after when looking for boats. The final member to come on board after retiring from his career of 50+ years working in electronics and IT to become the in house electrical engineer. All of this knowledge, plus trusted, specialist contractors provides us with a strong back bone to deliver a quality product with longevity in mind.

Since the forming of the business in 2013 we have been completing bespoke narrowboat carpentry projects to the users of the Kennet and Avon Canal. The works ranged from table tops, soild oak doors or dinettes to full refurbishments of stricken boats. However since the COVID pandemic in 2020, when this type of work fell away we decided that we should move into brand new builds with our first narrowboat complete in August 2022.

We are always looking forward with more shells on the way. We work closely with ABC (Boston) who make a great quality shell with near vertical cabin sides which provide a larger interior space. Our shell suppliers allow us a degree of customisation to bring the different to the market. 

Not only do we build brand new stock boats but we also build to order with our December build slot already allocated. More build slots are in the diary with June 23 currently available. 

We will always work closely with our customers and provide a collabrative approach to building the customers dream boat.
