Our Story

 

We’re a small, family-run business with over 12 years of hands-on experience in building, refitting, and selling narrowboats. Born from a passion for craftsmanship and a love of the water, Stroud Innovations was founded to do things differently — to take the time, care, and attention that mass boatbuilders simply can’t.

Every project we take on is a collaboration, not a transaction. We work closely with each client to turn ideas into a fully formed, fully fitted, and truly one-of-a-kind boat. No off-the-shelf layouts. No copy-paste finishes. Just solid, honest boatbuilding done right.

Most of our customers come to us because they couldn’t find exactly what they were looking for — so we build it with them. Some are experienced boaters who know what they need; others are new to the lifestyle and need guidance. Either way, we’re here to support you from first sketch to final sign-off — and beyond.
